Odd workflows for digital art

A discussion thread for artists who have workflows that are unconventional.

I’ll start with mine, used for vector graphics.

I generally use, of all things, Moment of Inspiration CAD software for making the actual shapes, reserving Inkscape for coloring, processing, and effects. If I need to make it into a raster image, I export as a raster - usually WebP - then take it to GIMP (that’s the GNU Image Manipulation Program , and yes, mods, the developer is aware of its’ unfortunate acronym) for further edits.

I also use MoI for 3D shapes, which I then take into Blender to further modify, process, and render. I’ve done quite a bit of this, actually.

What workflows do you have that others would find unusual?
