I’m having a potato laptop so I want to play some game with a lil bit high FPS (PUBG), is there anyway to boost or improve ? Is it safe to overclocking ?

I feel your pain on the potato laptop! To be honest, overclocking a laptop is generally not recommended. Most laptops don't have the cooling capacity to handle the extra heat, and you risk permanent hardware damage for maybe a 2-3% FPS boost it’s usually not worth the risk of frying your system.

Instead, try these 'safe' ways to squeeze more frames out of PUBG:

  • The 'Razer' Way: If you haven’t already, try Razer Cortex. It kills unnecessary background processes automatically when you launch a game to free up RAM and CPU cycles.

  • PUBG Settings: Set everything to 'Very Low,' but keep Textures at 'Medium' if you can—it helps with spotting enemies without killing your FPS. Also, make sure V-Sync is OFF.

  • Windows Power Plan: Ensure your laptop is plugged in and set to 'Best Performance' in the Windows battery settings.

  • Resolution Scaling: If it’s still lagging, try dropping your in-game resolution to 720p. It won’t look as sharp, but your FPS will jump significantly.
