Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2020 4K OLED on external monitor

Hi Im looking to buy the Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2020 4K OLED when it is released in the UK. When gaming I would like to use a external monitor 240hz gsync maybe (Not purchased one yet). Will there be any issues with this using usb c or HDMI ports? is there anything I need to consider and take into account?

So with HDMI you won't get like 50Hz. There must already be a display port. Otherwise it's money down the drain.

That’s interesting as I don’t think the 2020 RB15 Adv has a display port.

TB3/usb c gen 2 would be detected as display port on physX if you’re connecting it to external monitor by using adapter like usb c to DP. It can output 60Hz+ high refresh rate (depends the resolution) but not quite sure about g sync since it’s not native connection (on 2018 model usb c/TB3 connected directly to cpu, so I can’t pull g sync since it should connected natively (directly to gpu)), but a guy in Reddit said 2019 TB3 is different with 2018, it’s connected to gpu and can pull gsync, so there’s a hope, but again I can’t guarantee it since he didn’t show the proof.
