Great idea! But first you should learn about CAD before buying 3D printer.

Where would be best to learn about CAD?
Even I'm interested~~~
Yep! I've been using Solidworks at work for 15 years, mostly sheetmetal parts and not any 3D printing but it's good to see how popular they are now. It should mean more mechanical designers and engineers in the future. :smile_:

I agree
I think 3D printing is the future. I hear they've even learned how to print at home.
Learn the program first! I have wasted SOOOOOO much material messing up my prints with no recycle capabilities to reuse wasted materials... that I still have...
Love the 3d printing community. I love the idea of it, but it's a bit expensive to get into. If you're part of Insider, you probably spend a bit of money on gaming...
The 3D printing/design world is an incredibly exciting one, full of possibilities for innovation and creativity. It allows for the rapid prototyping and production of complex objects and shapes, such as prosthetics and medical implants, as well as enabling individual creators to bring their creative visions to life. 3D printing/design is also becoming increasingly accessible, allowing anyone with access to the right technology to create customized products and prototypes quickly and easily. The possibilities are seemingly endless, and I am excited to see where the 3D printing/design world will take us in the future.
Awww, saw this a little too late, I loved my 3d printer but sold it when I moved!

Buy another one then :)
3D Printer industry is pushing forward, every newer model have some really nice feature, so you won’t spend much time on calibrating it etc.
I’ve bought BambuLab A1 mini - and I’m very happy with it - really quiet and hassle less than other printers.
