I’ve been digitally drawing recreationally for over 2 years now and have been using the wacom intuos with Razer Stealth gaming laptop .The wacom intuos is a graphic tablet, I move the stylus on the surface, and it appears on the monitor. I have made detailed art pieces but recently started to shift towards making webcomics.
Although the slate has served me well, it just isn't working out well in the comic strip workflow. I have developed hand-eye coordination, I believed it was time to upgrade.
I had the opportunity to use the Apple pencil (iPad Pro) drawing experience was phenomenal, too good to not look for an upgrade. After some research, I am conflicted whether I should but the iPad or the XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro drawing tablet monitor .
While the pencil with the 9.7 inch ipad is great, do any other alternatives serve a better option? Artist are always on a budget. If I am going to spend $250 or so on an Artist 12 Pro display tablet, does it come with advantages over the iPad Pro?
