Razer Cortex not detecting any games for zSilver | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Razer Cortex cannot detect any of the games that I have in the Rewards/Paid-to-Play tab even though the games I play are already added in "My Library" as a result I'm unable to earn zSilver.

When I checked my last zSilver activity - the last time I received some from playing games was back in April of this year, since then Cortex isn't recognising any of my games. It will optimise my pc & deal with unnecessary processes - but will not reward me with any zSilver. I've logged out and in and even gone so far as to reinstalling razer cortex.

In My Library, I've added no only the games, but their own launchers too, but I can't seem get it to detect the games upon launch. It only detects my total time played, the time I last played it and a chart of my FPS. But it doesn't reflect on Rewards tab.

Is there anything I can do? I can't seem to fix it.

Thanks,
Try to reinstall cortex. Antivirus software is not blocking it?

I have re-installed and it still isn't working - I have no idea why... maybe it's an update or something?
even worst, I download this week's Cortex PC Paid to play, CrossFire, and it is unable to launch the game entirely !!!

I tried to reinstall, restart, clearing data, but still no response for the game application.

Yeah it's acting strangely as of late
I just tried earning silver through this method. I downloaded the demo version of Redout, but it didn't detect it automatically. I manually added it, and it detects my play time, but hasn't rewarded any Silver for it, even after adding the steam client bootstrapper to the library on Cortex.

The game ID for the demo is different from the full game so you wont be able to use the demo playtime to count towards any Silver, effectively Cortex doesnt recognize the demo as the game that rewards Silver. You either have to buy Redout or go for the F2P game which I believe is Crossfire this week.

If you have issues with Crossfire I suggest sending feedback through the Cortex app so that the people working behind the scenes can look into your specific issue, dont forget to send the logs with your feedback since we can see the issue with those logs.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm surprised it's not part of the FAQs
