Hi, I recently installed gamma and my antivirus popped up saying they stopped a virus as soon as I opened gamma. And I couldn't uninstall the rest of the gamma files because when I try it won't let me. Help would be appreciated thanks :D

Once you install the Gamma software it will add in the following .exe file in the following directory C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Gamma\\Miners\\ethminer\\etherminer.exe This is the .exe file which is part of initiating the gamma mining process. Any Anti-Virus software is going to consider it to be a Trojan and will delete it. Action as per following~~~
  • Disable your Anti-Virus scanner
  • Install Gamma
  • From your AV software, White list the .exe file
  • Enable your Anti-Virus scanner
  • Start mining

Gamma includes ethminer & xmr miner - they're sometimes detected as viruses (false positive, but as many other crypto mining software). As @Sye_The-Vie said - add etherminer to the whitelist... or just whole gamma folder.
