Dear Malaysian Razer Gold Fans,

We truly appreciate your support throughout the years and making us as one of the significant recharge platforms in Malaysia.

However, we'd like everyone to stay alert as cases of fraud and scam in Malaysia have been on the rise. Hence, we would like to emphasize to all users once again - Please avoid contact with transactions or platforms from unknown sources, and continually stay alert for any suspicious activity.

Please note: Once your Razer Gold or Silver is fraudulently redeemed from your account, no refunds will be granted, and Razer will not be liable for any property damage. All we can do is freeze the account to avoid any further regrets.

Here are some tips for you on how to avoid suspicious or potentially risky transactions with Razer Gold:

  • DO NOT disclose any of your personal and banking information (i.e. username, passwords, bank account, bank card numbers, OTP/TAC, etc.) to another person.
  • DO NOT perform any transactions with public WIFI networks as hackers can gain unauthorized access to your sensitive data when you login into these unsecured networks.
  • DO NOT use any unreliable and unsecured online platforms to recharge your games. If you are logging into a secure site, the website address will change from "http://" to https://. You should also look out for the security icon which is a lock or a key.
  • AVOID using public computers at libraries or cyber cafes for any transactions on Razer Gold. Do log out when you have finished your transaction and clear your cache immediately.
  • AVOID browsers remembering your password.
  • AVOID opening unknown files to prevent your computer from being compromised and your personal information leaked.
  • DO NOT use passwords that can be guessed easily such as birthdates. We’d suggest updating your Razer Gold account’s password REGULARLY by using a mixture of alphanumeric characters and symbols, whenever possible.
  • Beware of impersonation scams, job scams and credit-for-sex scams
  • If you have encountered any suspicious online transactions, kindly act as below:
    1) Contact the nearest police station and file a police report immediately.
    2) Contact National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) hotline at 997 (reachable daily from 8 am to 8pm including on public holidays)
    3) Submit a ticket to Razer Gold and our representative will assist you.
