Okay, to answer your question, I now know that you are only charged your typical taxes and a shipping charge. Shipping was 10 dollars for me. All on the up and up. No gotchya costs or anything. This post had me wondering lol.

You are incorrect in this and another reply saying its country related. The person had stated it was a charge for redeeming silver and that is exactly what it is. An extremely disappointing additional charge that only Razer is collecting.

I am relatively sure that js your sales tax. Unless I am confusing the european system in a way that is incorrect.

This is not a sales tax. It is a new charge, not a tax, for redeeming silver. You can see that clearly on the screenshot. This is something that has been introduced this year.
If that is not your sales tax, then where is your sales tax??

For comparison, here is an order from 2020. You can see the difference.

This. Is. NOT. A. Sales. Tax.

It is a separate charge collected by Razer specifically for redeeming Razer Silver and was brought into effect in 2021.

Re: Sales Tax query: In EU there is VAT applied to products and is part of product price and labelled as VAT if shown separately. VAT is the equivalent to what you call sales tax. Here is details on that from Razer FAQ: "A national sales tax or VAT rate will be applied on physical goods for customers based in EU countries. This sales tax or VAT may not be shown as a separate charge during checkout and may instead be included in the product price (Sales tax or VAT inclusive pricing)"
They do charge sales tax though now and that number looks awfully accurate for sales tax. They just label it oddly. But it can't really be labeled sales tax on purchase price because you redeemed it with silver, so they call it a tax on razer silver redemption. It is the same thing. I think there may have been a time when they did not charge this, but I am not sure.
I mean the tax rate total between two of your purchases look nearly identical or close to it. Look at your local taxes at like 1 dollar versus your first redemption. This is sales tax, it is just labeled rather poorly.

By EU law if it was a VAT charge it is labelled as such and would be a different amount. Regardless, it wouldn't apply as a separate charge in the first place as VAT is, by law, included in the price of the product. This is not sales/VAT. This is not poor labelling. This is Razer charging an extra thing that they did not do prior to 2021. There is no point to go around in circles and provide misinformation for others about how this is sales tax. Just look into that and VAT further for yourself.
