you didn't actually give me a good reason as to why they need to have zsilver expire anymore since paid to play is gone.
also, use it or don't otherwise tough tiddies is kind of a terrible argument by the way

Expiration of promotional credits is so the provider of the promotion can better plan how the promotion works. When the original rewards catalog came out, prices were very low. When zSilver was opened up to the masses with the very generous Paid to Play, keeping the catalog full from the beginning was hard to do because people who had hoarded points before hand had a leg up. For the promotion to look good, the rewards catalog can't be constantly empty. Because of Paid to Play, the costs in the rewards catalog were reworked. To keep those prices low, Razer needs to make sure they don't get spiked by dormant users who show up with massive points and buy out the catalog. Razer chose to have points expire as their way of combating this. Other options could have been taken, yes. But it would kill 'hype' over the program. Razer thrives on hype, and considers it a badge of honor when their announcements basically DDoS their servers to oblivion.

Again, we don't know what changes are happening right now. They are saying the whole program is in jeopardy because of the entitled attitudes Razer is dealing with because of the program. People demanding that the program work in their own best interest, damn everyone else, to the point of threatening employees of the company running the promotion is the real problem.

@SESNut, your point is that points shouldn't expire as zSilver can only be earned from zGold purchases, and the rewards for that are too overpriced. Yeah, that would be a valid point if it wasn't a straw-man argument. You are making assumptions to something that is currently in flux. We don't know if new was of earning silver are in the works. The information we have is kind of spotty. We are possibly looking at regional rewards catalogs. We are looking at pricing changes.

I'm not saying don't discuss how to make the program better, I'm saying don't demand the program work better for you. If a lot of people are having problems collecting the points to redeem, talk about it. But don't throw a tantrum because others can while you can't. Just understand that the program isn't for the proverbial "YOU" to get free stuff. It's a trade off and Razer holds all the cards. Constructive criticism is criticism that takes all parties into account. If it feels like you are not wanted, but other people are, don't try to burn down the house is all I'm saying. If your reasoning behind thinking a change is warranted uses a pronoun that points to yourself, take a second and reflect on what you really want and make sure it isn't out of selfishness.

I also would like to point out that when I post on forums, I try for a narrative tone and try not to single out a particular person unless the discussion calls for it. Since I both tag and quote @SESNut, I just want to point out I'm not focused on you personally. I don't want you to think I'm singling you out as a problem user, because I honestly don't think you are. Like I said, you have a valid concern for the future of the program. My point is that pointing out potential problems to people tends to bring out trolls, and trolls are the real problem here. No point getting worked up until everything is done and we can accurately gauge what is going on.
I didn't get to use Razer Pay to Play very much when it was still up. However, I know that if you guys find a way to bring it back, it'll be great for most people. People will be able to play their favorite games and be rewarded at the same time which I think is great for the gaming community. People like me who don't really have the spare money to spend on gaming peripherals can finally have hopes of getting zSilver and saving up for them. I think Razer Pay to Play was an amazing and extremely generous idea, and I hope you guys find a way to bring it back!

It's been a while since we decided to suspend Paid to Play - and each time I wanted to review it, I would go back to the forum thread - read the posts, and decide that maybe it's not worth doing it.

We started Paid to Play as a way to see how we could get community members who loved Razer, but couldn't afford to buy our gear, a way to grind and earn Razer products and other awesome giveaways. However, while we had good intentions for it, we started getting a lot of complaints, demands and worst of all - death threats to our team and I decided to put a stop to it.

I've thought about how we might bring it back sometime and here are my thoughts:

1. It will be focused more for users of Razer products and services - i.e. it's more to reward our existing customers as opposed to someone looking for a free hand-out.
2. We will probably want to focus on users of Razer zGold - and that will be the MAIN way of earning zSilver - for those who spend on games etc with zGold and earn zSilver.
3. We will still have multiple SECONDARY different ways of earning zSilver - it could be Paid to Play on PC, or on Mobile, or maybe through our partners like Esports Mogul and much more. It will still be possible to grind but there will be multiple different ways instead of just one way.
4. This will no longer be for those who aren't already Razer customers - and using Razer services is going to be the main way to earn zSilver - the other free ways of doing so will be secondary ways.
5. Anytime it gets negative, people demanding stuff, complaining or death threats we'll suspend it again.

Just some thoughts about this - it may or may not come back - but just some of my thoughts on how we might evolve Paid to Play.

My True Opinion.
I love razer products, and the chroma ecosystem. Loved Paid to Play, and was excited to add to my peripherals. Although I only had 30K zsliver before being suspended, I still held onto it, waiting for an update.

My suggestions.
- Paid to Play (Love it), This service should only be for loyal customers who have razer products. Razer should give more points for customers who have more peripherals. (For example, 1 razer product = 400p...2 razer products = 600p, and so on.
- People who actually have razer products, are probably not the people sending death threats. The above suggestion would be perfect!
- Interested in gift cards (amazon, starbucks, best buy.. etc)
- make them link multiple accounts to the razer account, so people arent farming.
-Not interested in Mogul/tournaments, friends and I are busy, and are just casual gamers.
- Not interested in ZGold, only play 1 game at a time and they are AAA titles you guys don't have
- Not interested in daily logins for 40 zSilver or low amounts, it just turns me off, knowing that I am
getting such low amount of points. It just isnt worth my time tbh, and might aswell delete Cortex.
- Not interested in other rewards (i.e. clothing discount,)

-Honestly its the internet and not everyone is going to be happy. So Start banning them peoples/ blocking emails that have death threat like context. Cause I hate how that ruined it for everyone else.

Thanks, and hope to see Paid to Play back for the loyal customers.

hmmm, more ways to earn zsilvers is always welcomed.
a quick question for mltan, since you already launched RazerPay in MY and soon SG.
Will there be plans for RazerPay users to earn zsilvers? like, how if we use zgold, we get some zsilvers?
Coz personally, I don't really buy that much games to play except when games goes on sale. But I definitely would use e-payments more frequently if available.
just make it so you have to have at least 2 razer products owned and connected to earn and use zsilver.

One person takes hundreds of thousands of zSilver, while pushing the rest of honest idiots down and out of the roster.
Result of the lack of requirements, during creating a new account.

Love to say Keep it up RAZER, but this time i won't.

Wow that is sad, if people worked as hard as they did at a real job instead of lying and cheating they'd actually be doing quite well in life.
I miss Paid to play that much its not funny 😳 With in the last year I have had my hopes RAZER and the share holders would change there minds 😳. They implement mogul arena to replace P2P I spent 6 mounts on it and never seen 1 Zsilver at all 😳. When I played paid to play it kept me coming back and felt proud to be apart of the RAZER family ! As I don't have money to buy games and get Zgold I get $20 a week for luxury's including like a treat for my kid or take them to a fun park. I had to save up for ages to get the RAZER keyboard and mouse I got ! It gave me faith in the RAZER company that makes Billions of dollars profit all around the world every year that gives back to the people that play there supported games and help out people that don't have money but buy RAZER products when they can afford it ! But now that RAZER is even taking away the daily sign in I am losing all my faith in RAZER :frown_:. Its starting to look like that RAZER best interest is the share holders as the compony says its going to make it better for the RAZER family and the opposite happens ! I have faith that RAZER with your help Mltan can turn this around with Paid 2 Play ! ! ! ! . Ps Please keep the RAZER family together for ever mltan I have faith in you :wink_:

Nous aurons différentes façons de gagner de l'argent mais toutes les méthodes gratuites auront de petites sommes d'argent. Et oui - il n’est pas fait pour vous d’avoir toutes les réalisations de zSilver Insider pour vous offrir un Huntsman gratuit - comme je l’ai dit plus tôt, nous le pivotons de sorte que ceux qui utilisent régulièrement zGold expliquent comment accéder au Huntsman gratuit ( et les moyens libres sont de vous aider à y arriver plus rapidement).

En tout cas, je suis content d'avoir 5 € deAnyway, I'm happy to have 5 € discount on the Razer Store and to leave with a mouse pocket for 1 €

Suggestion:
1. Remove Razer Pay app and introduce Zgold app for mobile and bring over the existing credits in Razerpay to zgold with Razer insider integrated in it.
2. Paid to play made available to those who owned Razer peripherals
3. Make all razer peripherals use one software which is Razer Synapse 3.0
4. Make Zgold available to buy razer peripherals. (I think the pros are more than cons, enlighten me)

i have been a razer customer for a long time and its a sad day when a company cannot have giveaways to their customer base without being threatened. thanks razer for trying to give back to the community.

PAID TO PLAY IS BACK?!
I hope you bring more ways to get zSilver I need more razer products XD
If zGold is the only way to earn, it's not paid to play but pay to play.
Also as long as the current expiration system stands, there is a very real threat that the earnings will amount to nothing because of the forced short timespan. I'm looking at loosing thousands in just a few months. Maybe you should rethink the pricing; i'm only interested in games, not hardware - digital keys should not cost as much as peripherals.

Paid to Play works great, played a few rounds of PUBG and it worked flawlessly.👍 It's a good cap amount too, easy to hit, small enough to not be abused, but still enough to add up.

As I've mentioned, our pivot for Razer Silver is to reward those who use Razer Gold. That's the main purpose. Other means will be SECONDARY ways of earning Razer Silver.

Again - if it doesn't meet your expectations, there are many others who enjoy it, so just don't participate if you don't like it - and let those who enjoy it continue to.
When i can spend Z Gold on some popular games like LOL, overwatch, CS:GO etc

Don't mind, I just got it XD
as I like the new changes, I do not agree with the amount of Razer silver you can earn by mining or paid to play. Before paid to play you could make 900 silver in a day for playing a couple hours. Now you can only earn 100 a day with paid to play and 133 with soft-mining. (200 in total). I know there are a lot of ways getting zsilver, but many people cant even get on mogul leader boards (like me), Don't buy enough games for Razer Gold to be efficient and are not religiously on insider. With that, I think that the products you can redeem with Razer Silver should have price changes, because good luck trying to get any of the higher costing products. After reading your responses above I feel like this is now 100% focused for razer gold. Which is sad, cause I think the idea of how people who have registered razer products should be able to get more razer silver in paid to play or softmining. Hopefully this will change in the months.

Some math that would put this in perspective
(Paid to play 1 month (3000 Silver)) + ((Softmining 1 month (4000 silver)) = 7000 Razer silver
7000 Razer silver x 12 months = 84, 000 Silver

After a year you are only getting 84,000 Silver, which you can only buy a select few things, and non of their most wanted higher end products. in addition this is dependent on 1 hour paid to play, and 5 hour mining. Again after a year your points begin to expire so you have to use them. In the old system, which I thought was superior you could potentially get 324, 000 Razer Silver in a year.

Just my thoughts.
Just some friendly feedback, but we shall see how this system works overtime.
