Tax on redemption of Razer Silver Product

WTF is this? I gather silver to be able to redeem my rewards and still I have to pay 22,5 euro of Tax on redemption of Razer Silver Product. When it was introduced? And why? If You don't what to give Your products for free just don't do it instead of adding some bullshit taxes so ppl pay the real price for Your products instead of inflated one.
