Hello I had a hard drive crash and Im reinstalling W10 bottom to top. I have been trying to reinstall the audio visualizer into the latest version of Synapsis 2.21 but for the life of me Im missing somthing. I have tried to install the CC++ update and it fails to install telling me that another version is already installed on my system. I try to go directly to MS web site and download the 2015 C++ and when I try to install it, it says that it is not aplicabill to my system. I then looked into my installed programs and the 2015 c++ was just updated on 8/1/19.
Im missing something along the way. could someone please tell me steep by steep how to get this thing to work again? I had it up and running before the HD crash, but now it just will not work for me.
thanks to any help inadvance.

Thanks for sharing its full details. Just to confirm, are you using this link during the installation of the Audio Visualizer? Have you tried creating another Windows user account with admin rights to isolate the issue? If the issue persists, please send me a PM together with your laptop's serial number. Let's continue from there.
1. firewall and antivirus checker. same software I used before the HD crash so it should not be stopping it from working/running.
2. CC++ install. I went directly to MSoft website and downloaded and attempted to do a manual install of CC++ for Windows 7, 8.0, 8.1, and got the exact same results. somthing like 'this softwear is not applicabul for your system' the install log file said that 'paths/dir' could not be found, and the botom line said that it would not install since I had a newer version.
3. services.msc. I have looked at that page and understand how to get there etc... but beyond that I don't know what your asking me to do. I would not know what was missing or not working properly.
4. sysnapsis is running at boot up and seems to work correctly. However I do not see the audio vis listed in the croma apps list (I beleave that it showed up there and I had to select it to get it to work, it is not listed).
5. the audio viz program starts and goes to the music like it should, but there is no change to my keyboard or mouse, etc... I have tried to run as administrater, and in various states of compatability modes, nothing gets it to show up in sysnapsis 2. Ihave also run sysnapsis as administrater no change.
***** 6. the only BIG change is I was able to install the W10 build 1903. Windows update failed to install anything after 1803, untill the HD crash and a full reinstall now I have build 1903.
hope this answers some of your questions.

Hey there! Have you tried checking if your firewall or antivirus is blocking the audio visualizer or the CC++ installation? Please check under services.msc for all related service for Razer, audio visualizer or the CC++ and check if the "Startup type" is set as automatic. Also, please check if the Service status is "running".
