Has anyone ever run into an issue where a USB-C dock will work in one port but not the other? I'm currently using an HP G5. It works perfectly plugged in the left side, but only delivers power on the right side. I'm hoping there is something I am missing configuration wise. Both the dock and the laptop are up to date. The laptop is the new 2022 RB14 with the AMD 6900HX and 3060 GPU.
Edit: As a test, I tried a USB-C network adapter. Same results, it is only recognized on the left side.
Edit 2: Confirmed it with a simple USB-C 4 port USB 3.1 Hub as well.
Really hoping I don't need to replace a day old laptop already.

There are two USB 3.0 Gen 2 Type-C in this model capable of power delivery and Display Port 1.4 charging (supported with 20V USB-C chargers with PD 3.0). Try updating the unit through Windows update and installing the Intel Driver and Support Assistant. Check if it offers updated drivers for your laptop. Have you contacted our Support Team via chat or email? If you haven't, allow me to initiate an investigation by sending me the following:
a. MSinfo logs.
b. Screenshot of Windows version
c. Photo of the BIOS main tab.
