So I have a bunch of console content planned for my Twitch stream and YouTube channel so I fired up my Razer Ripsaw to get things rolling. When I plugged in my PS4 into the capture card and started the software to record, the video was frozen on the capture software and the audio was crackling and popping and going in and out every couple of seconds. I have tried resetting and messing with the settings and while using both Stream Labs OBS and Xsplit the same issue is ocuuring even going to them to see if it is an issue on their end. Since the issue isn't the software I am coming here to figure out if others have experienced this issue and pray the capture card isn't dying

Update: So the audio is popping and the video freezes a few seconds after I start Streamlabs OBS or any other streaming software. If I change the Res to 720p the auido clears up but there is no video. Any suggestions?
Hi there! Let me help you out with this. Was this working before? When did the issue start? Also, can you share your setup with us so we can take a better look?
To answer your questions, yes it was working before, around August when I was doing some test footage for my PS4. The issue started a few days ago when I tried to set things up for a PS4 live stream. Between the last time, I used the card and just recently I optimized my computer to be able to play World of Warcraft utilizing CPU cores that weren't in use and switched from Xsplit to Streamlabs OBS. The issues I was noticing was frozen screen and audio poping before going mute seconds into activating the capture card in the software.
Now as an update, I changed the resolution from 1080p to 720p on the settings in the software and on the console as I found the audio no longer popping and crackling after I changed the resolution in the settings. This does allow me to record and stream but after some testing today I found the display freezing 45 minutes to an hour after gameplay.
Currently, the USB 3.0 Controller has the capture card and my Razer Kiyo Webcam plugged into it.

Thanks for the reply. You mentioned that the display was freezing. Can you share a short video clip if the issue?
Sure, the only issue is it happens randomly from the testing that I have done. Yesterday it was doing it every 15 minutes, right now its been almost an hour and things are good so far
Thanks for the video. I've sent you a PM so let's continue there.

Hi there. I couldn't figure out how to start a new thread, so I thought this would be as good as anywhere to seek help. I was talking with a fellow streamer on PS4 chat and getting ready to stream, and the audio from my ps4 cut out in the streaming software. I thought this was odd. Lo and behold, when I switch over to the ps4, no audio there either. So now I'm beginning to think something is wrong with my ps4. But I decide to remove the ripsaw from the equation and my ps4 sound works just fine.
I reseated all the cables multiple times. Uninstalled and reinstalled the ripsaw drivers. Still same result, as seen here:
I'm running windows 10, xsplit lifetime sub; everything up to date.
I didn't change anything initially, it was working and then just ceased working. Thought I was losing my mind, but this is keeping me from streaming. Any resolution would be greatly appreciated.
