Razer THX surround sound not working.

I just bought this headset : Razer Kraken 7.1 THX, and with the first time i tried it, it worked well with surround sound and everything. After the surround test, Razer Synapse recommended me to restart my computer. so i restarted my computer and tested surround once more, it worked! but.. after playing my game, and tested the surround sound again and it did not work from there on. Does anybody know whats happening.
