Razer viper ultimate dongle not working and not updating

Juts got my Razer Viper Ultimate today second hand but appears to just be old stock, tried to connect wirelessly but the dongle is not working tried to update firmware but when it starts it makes the noise as if ive pulled it out but then starts to update then makes the same noise again at 40% and the updater just fails. also tried to pair using the application that just fails also, the mouse works perfectly fine when connected by cable so anyone have any ideas on how to fix the dongle or if i can try source a replacement? thanks

By saying that you used an application to pair the dongle and mouse, did you maximize Razer's Pairing Utility? Also, did you follow the steps in this guide while performing the firmware update? We may be able to submit a request ticket for dongle replacement, but let us rule out some software troubleshooting first before routing to that option.
