Synapse 3 won't update after connecting new Kraken V3 Pro

As the title says, ever since I connected my new Razer Kraken V3 Pro with my PC Synapse keeps trying to update but fails, then telling me to contact support. Which is something that hasn’t proven quite effective for me, so now I’m here.

Everything worked perfectly fine on my Razer Blade 15 (2019), when I first connected it there. But on my PC it keeps getting stuck trying to update to version 20230330 by now. This problem has persisted for at least one month now, so the version have changed over time I’m pretty sure. If I extend the download field by clicking on “What’s new?” it goes on to tell me “Congratulations on successfully connecting your Razer Kraken V3 Pro, yada yada yada”. That’s why my guess is that this was all caused by connecting said headset.

The headset works tho, and I can change settings in Synapse without a problem. Only the THX Spacial Audio feature doesn’t get recognized, I can change settings for it, but I can’t choose it as audio output in Windows settings.

I have tried repairing Synapse, via the “uninstall module” and completely reinstalling it aswell. Nothing helps. Except that my Chroma Mouse Dock now won’t get properly recognized either and is included in the supposed “change log” mentioned above :P

 

That covers everything I think, I’d be overjoyed if anyone happened to know a solution and share it or work on one with me. If you’re missing any information, please ask :D

 

PS: My System is running in German and so are all Razer programs. I can understand and translate everything, it might create a barrier regarding screenshots tho, just so you know (speaking from support experience) :D

I’m having the same issue with the updater and i haven’t installed any new software or hardware to my machine, i have not been able to download the update since it was released… it stops at 99% and it will stay like this indefinitely.

Did you already try checking for Windows OS update or reinstall the headset’s driver? Should the issue persists, let me know through PM so I can gather more information so I can escalate your concern to the software team. Thank you!
