Hi, is it possible to get Hypershift work with SHIFT/ALT/CTRL.
In my example, I use hypershift on keyboard to chance keybinds on razor mouse. For example, Numbers 1-4 and numbers 5-8 share same buttons, but 1-4 is without hypershift pressed, and 5-8 is with hypershift.
Now I like to add modifier. SHIFT + 1 until SHIFT + 4 works fine. But the numbers 5-8 cant get combined with SHIFT or ALT or CTRL.
I want to achieve(Examples):
SHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => Shift + 1
ALT+ First Mouse Thumb Button => ALT+ 1
SHIFT + HYPERSHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => Shift + 5
ALT+ HYPERSHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => ALT+ 5
SHIFT/ALT/CTRL are correctly bound on hypershift layer on keyboard.
Any ideas ?

My keyboard is from razer, too. Both of my devices - keyboard and mouse - support hypershift.
hmm, my keyboard is a 7€ scrapyard board. maybe that is the issue ^^
but i could SWEAR, that i DID add a hypershift key on my board on day one when i tinkered around in synapse 3

how can i even map the hypershift function to a keyboard key, i can only choose from all available mouse buttons...
Ok, after some more tests I can describe it more correctly.
It works perfectly when all your buttons are on SAME DEVICE.
I configured shift, hypershift and a two numbers on my Tartarus V2.
On one key on Tartarus is Number 1 on normal layer and Number 5 on hypershift layer.
It works like described:
Press: 1
Fn + Press: 5
Shift + Press : !!!!
Shift + Fn + Press : %%%%
But if I use two different devices from Razer, that both support hypershift, and I have the key with the 1 and 5 on the other device, then it doesnt work anymore. It shows following behavior then:
Shift + Press : !!!!
Shift + Fn + Press : !!!
But hypershift without extra shift works:
Press: 1
Fn + Press: 5
So it's a cross device bug.

Thats the behavior I was expecting. Im using these two devices:
- Razer Tartarus V2
- Razer Naga Trinity (12-Buttons Field)
On Trinity I have my buttons mapped individually from 0 to 9.
On Tartarus I have defined SHIFT, ALT, STRG, HYPERSHIFT.
SHIFT, ALT, STRG exists von both layers, normal and hypershift one. I get this behavior:
Shift + Fn + Press: !!!!!
To be more precisely: I press SHIFT + FN on Tartarus and Thumb Button 1 on Trinity.

I tried your suggested mappings on the side button :
Normal mapping = keyboard function "1" , hypershift mapping = keyboard function "5"
(I'm typing using the corresponding combos)
Press : 1111
Shift + Press : !!!!
Fn + Press : 5555
Shift + Fn + Press : %%%%
Seems to be working alright on this end.

Sure, but this one - for example - doesnt work:
SHIFT + HYPERSHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => Shift + 5
It always outputs SHIFT + 1.
SHIFT is on same key on both layers(Normal and Hypershift)
SHIFT + HYPERSHIFT + First Mouse Thumb Button => Shift + 5
It always outputs SHIFT + 1.
