Synapse 4 beta - keeps monitor awake

Hi,

I had problems with synapse 3, in which my mouse and keyboard disappeared (support didn't know how to help me) and now I installed the v4 beta, which works fine for now but keeps the computer awake all the time and when the monitor wants to turn off, after 3 seconds it turn on again.
When I uninstall synapse v4, the monitor normally turns off automatically (goes to sleep) if I'm not using the computer.

How to make synapse not ping the computer constantly?

Having exactly the same problem. Unplugging my Cynosa Chroma allows moniotor to fall asleep, but this is not a solution)

For a long time Synapse 3 caused similar issue, eventually they fixed it (finally, I thought!), but at the same time the program stopped seing by keyboard. So I tried the new Synapse beta - this time the keyboard is always there but now my monitor can’t fall asleep - it turns off for 3 seconds and then wakes up. Tried disabling AMD high definition audio device and HID-compliant consumer control device in device manager as was advised on some forums - it didn’t help.

Strange is that Razer can’t find problem because you have exactly the same problem on v3 and v4 🙁

I have the same issue with Synapse V4.0.76.19.  If I exit Synapse then I have no issues with my monitor/PC sleeping.  With it running, the monitor will try to sleep but then will immediately wake back up. Since I have an OLED monitor I can’t have it on all night.  Synapse in this state is a non starter.  How often have we seen good hardware held back by bad software implementation?  It just never ends.

Yes….shame….if they didn’t fix it in a month, they probably won’t….I’m now using openRGB just to use the keyboard….

I don’t have fancy lightning (just fixed lights) but I can use it….But never buying razer again because everything is connected to synapse, which is obviously trash…..

Next keyboard is probably logitech…...

Same issue here, just got the Razer devices. Maybe I’ll just go back to Steelseries...

Apparently, they solved the problem with sleep in the beta version of synapse v4..... So everyone who had problems with the monitor not going to sleep because of synapse, try the beta v4 version :-)

Not quite for me. For the first time my monitor is going to sleep, it wakes up. But for the second time it sleeps normally. That is if my sleep time is 15 minutes it actually goes to sleep in 30 minutes.
