Last week I’ve noticed, that new’ version of Synapse 4 is available, so I’ve downloaded it/installed. Now BlackShark V2 Pro (2020 version) is no longer available in Synapse.

I’ve restarted PC, put the dongle into different USB port, and lastly removed Synapse 4 (+ all the Razer drivers with the Razer Driver cleanup tool), then rebooted PC and installed it again - no luck.

PS. I’ve also noticed, that when Synapse is not loaded, the volume scroll in BlackWidow V3 keyboard acts like scroll wheel instead multimedia (volume up & down).

PPS. After installing new version, when logged in to the Synapse - it didn’t recover some settings properly. For eg. on DeathAdder V3 Pro I had only 2 DPI sensitivity stages (400 & 1600 DPI), but it reverted to default value (5 stages).

Synapse version: 0.0.63.336

This issue has been addressed. Can you double check on your end that this has been fixed? Thanks!

Checked today (Synapse 4.0.0.409):

  1. Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2020) not detected (but at least there’s an info that it’s in development)
  2. When I exit Synapse - volume scroll is not working on BW V3 (I can only mute). The funny thing is when I run Synapse again and use volume scroll for the 1st time - it just acts like a scroll up/down. But when I use it again it works correctly.
  3. Not tested this yet - I’ll try to reinstall this later and check if it’ll recover the previous settings correctly.

Little update with #3.

Got somehow logged out from Synapse. After login sensitivity stages settings were lost (they just came back to its default setting).
