Chroma RGB not working correctly

After updating to the v4 beta my Chroma RGB lights are no longer working correctly. The devices are not in sync after starting up the PC, and after turning the displays off (locking the PC) the lights don’t turn off like they used to do with Synapse 3.

Both Synapse and Chroma apps installed. I’ve synced the lighting effect but that didn’t help.

Chroma RGB devices in my setup: BlackWidow Elite, Naga Trinity, Nommo Chroma, Core X Chroma (all supported by the V4 beta)

The Chroma RGB integration with Nanoleaf also seems to be broken.

I have a similar problem. Since I installed Chroma Beta, my mouse always resets after turning off the screens, even though I only use quick effects with a static white color. This is then always a different color when I turn my screen back on and I have to manually set it to static white again.

Synapse Beta 4 has been in beta testing for over a year now from what I've seen, so I'm really surprised that there are still such teething problems.

Just joined the beta, and expected Synapse 4 to be nearly finished...

I also use quick effects only, and currently with my monitors off all four Chroma devices are out-of-sync with different colors as a result. This wasn't a problem with Synapse 3.

Looks like they'll need another year or two before v4 is ready...

I will probably leave the beta now, because Synapse 3 is really stable. Beta 4 is an alpha at best and I might try it again in 3 years.

I have the Beta but I hope that reverting to 3 solves my issues. My fans are not working, well 2 out of 4 are. It works on default spectrum cycling but nothing for the studio. Last night, I changed my entire set up to grey *For grieving over a favorite youtuber who is dying from cancer* and it just stopped working, after it was working all this time. I was so excited to install these fans 2 months ago when I got them, but I’ve been having issues on my computer *Pre-Built* for awhile. My MSI fans went out beforehand and it turns out it was a controller issue. But I replaced everything with Razer, in hope to never get the dreaded burn out again… but here I am.. hoping this fixes my issues. *Sigh*

I have all Razer RGB chroma gear, Hub, Leviathan sound bar, Mouse pad etc, But the Beta software only can see my Mouse Pad should it not see at least the Razer RGB Hub?

Issue seems to be recent, as this only started after the Open Beta started. The version from November / December worked more reliably.

I was kinda excited to try it out, still seemed a little Bloaty as it created 3 or 4 services and was still well over 100megs. Then to my disappointment I it only see’s the Mouse pad LOL.

well darn, I really started to get on this Razer RGB train, Love the sound bar, got my desk Mat and pad, all my fans are on Razer Hub., but ended up going back to SignalRGB.

Hope they push out another update soon.

I’m glad someone else mentioned this issue, I had this issue with the old synapse, and after a while when I updated synapse it worked fine all the lightnings turned off when I shut down my computer.

but after installing Synapse Beta it broke the lightning my speaker lightning and mouse is still on after turning the computer off.

uninstalled the beta and installed the old Synapse but it didn’t fix it, I guess the beta one did something to the local files?

please razer this bug is such pain, some people have their PC in their bedroom and having lights pulsating is not a good sleep experience.

this bug used to be active before and you fixed it with updates, now it’s back with beta somehow and uninstalling won’t fix it.

unstall everything Razer, then use free version of ccleaner to clean up registry. I would try SignalRGB thats what im using right now waiting for the Beta to work. then I will decide between the 2. my system works great with Signal
