Deathadder Essential issue with New Razer Synapse Beta

Felinore

I’ve come across a bug recently with my Razer Deathadder Essential with the new Synapse beta.

Whenever the program opens (which it does automatically with every startup), the RGB on the mouse turns off and doesn’t come back on unless I close the application, then it’s fine and turns back on.

I’ve installed the older Synapse app, and the RGB appears to be fine and turns on correctly.

I would like to guess this is a bug for the beta app, and was wondering if it would be fixed soon.
Much thanks in advance.

There was a switch in Chroma module that allows you to use Chroma or built-in Windows Dynamic Lighting Devices option.

Also if you’re on Win11, check if Dynamic Lighting option is disabled in windows settings.

Sadly enough, I've tried this earlier today with nothing turning on the static green color on the mouse. Chroma is selected (even if the mouse doesnt support it), and Dynamic Lighting is disabled. Still nothing.

I know the light for it isn't broken because if I close the app, it turns back on. It was working before on the beta app, but I guess a recent update must've bugged it out? I'm still confused about it.

May be a bug.

You can also try creating new empty profile inside synapse for the mouse and check if the lighting will go back or not.

Still nothing when I do that. I guess it's just a bug at the moment. I also submitted it on the "Feedback" section of the app, so here's hoping it'll be fixed soon.

Yeah been surfing the internet to find a solution, seems like in the Dynamic Lighting section, there is no sign of the mouse as a connected device and also there is no sign of the synapse app in the drag able menu where we can give priority to what app can control the dynamic lighting.
Hope this bug gets fixed soon.

It's good to know I'm not the only one going through this with this mouse. If it's not much to ask, what attempts have you done to try and fix it?

Either ways, if this bug doesn't get fixed in a week or two, I might just go back to the old Synapse app.

So, for some weird reason my pc doesn’t detect my mouse in the normal synapse so I had to install the synapse beta to make everything working. Now coming to this issue, I have done all the below :
1.Completely uninstalled Razer Synapse beta and reinstalled it.
2.Tried using the Razer chroma to see if the app shows in the Dynamic Lightning page in the Windows Settings.
3.Tried installing the public release of Synapse alongside with the Synapse Beta and the lighting does work, but for some reason synapse doesn’t open anymore and the public release still doesn’t recognize my device.
4. Tweaked some services of windows but didn’t help much.

I think that’s all I could find in the internet as well as use my mind.
Hope maybe they fix it soon.

That also seems like the fixes I've tried to do as well to make the static green light on the mouse come on again. I guess we just have to wait for the bug to be fixed.

I suggest making a bug report in the Synapse Beta app if you haven't already, so they can see that it's a issue right now.
