New Synapse doesn't change polling rate for my Deathadder V3

this is one of the many issues on synapse beta and DA3 pro coupled with the hyperpolling dongle

Changing polling rate has no effect on this synapse version, the real polling rate doesn't change , I can confirm that.

But it worked fine few versions ago

I was going mad trying to diagnose why the middle click sometimes didn't work: in fact it works fine while synapse beta is running in the background

There is a workaround that could work rebinding the button and closing the app a couple times.

Everything works fine with Synapse 3:

polling rate can go high up to 8k and the measured value is correct

there is no issue with middle click whether synapse 3 is running or not.

I suggest to uninstall the beta, it's a mess, open a support ticket like I did and report all the bugs.

Works fine on my system. Did you by any chance imported Synapse 3 profiles?

Yes, but creating a new profile inside the beta or using the software as a guest didn’t change anything.

I can see all the polling rates listed up to 8k but any change is ignored, real dpi remains invariated

Dongle? But you said you’re using DeathAdder V3, not DeathAdder V3 Pro.

I’m not the thread opener, I own a different mouse but have similar problems with synapse beta

To be clear on my first post I said that I use the deathadder v3 pro, coupled with the hyper polling dongle that supports up to 8k

Then that might be an issue with the dongle itself rather than with the mouse.

Dongle works fine with synapse 3 right now, and it worked fine even on previous beta versions. It was a recent synapse beta update that broke the polling rate and other things.

So It’ just a synapse beta bug introduced in the latest update: it happens on DA3 wired and I confirm the exact same issue on the pro+dongle. I know it’s strange but I point my finger at some synapse beta/mouse firmware incompatibility, the dongle itself it’s working fine

In conclusion if you are using the beta synapse check if changing the polling rate is effective with an external utility. 
In case not, or if you also have strange middle click problems, uninstall the beta and go back to synapse 3

I tested it with polling rate test app and it works. Though I had to create a fresh Razer account for it, because my previously imported Synapse 3 profiles borked it.

viper v3 hyperspeed not working at 8khz with new synapse, only 4k.

with the old one all works good.

Razer blackshark v2 pro 2023 sidetone broken with both… i will return all. really it’s pathetic this situation.
