Syanpse Beta still conflicts with other RGB apps even if Chroma is not installed

It’s been a few updates since I last reported this, but the Synapse Beta still conflicts with other RGB utilities even though I opted to not install the Chroma part of the app. All my RGB hardware starts flashing rapidly like I’m at a rave or something.

Is this a bug that can be fixed? I’d really like to be able to run both Synapse and my RGB utility (Signal RGB). But right now I’m stuck with not running Synapse, which means I’m losing a lot of value from Razer hardware. If I can’t run Synapse alongside my other apps, that’s a big incentive to find different hardware.

SignalRGB is a 3rd party software, and it uses reversed engineering techniques to even control the RGB on devices. Using it realistically voids your warranty, which is why SignalRGB offers device replacement if they brick a device.

Synapse makes its own calls to their devices through Razers drivers, SignalRGB does as well. The only supported way of controlling razer device RGB is with the Chroma SDK which SignalRGB does not use. From a Synapse & Chroma side things work as intended, use of 3rd party RGB software is not supported; nor should you realistically expect the Razer dev team to support it.

While the Chroma app is a dedicated app for things like Chroma studio, basic RGB control is still possible without the Chroma app from Synapse. Synapse can still control RGB of devices without the Chroma app. SgnalRGB also has a page saying that this isn't really supported, you can only run one RGB / device software at a time. The page is here: https://docs.signalrgb.com/troubleshooting/conflicting-programs

"For best results all other RGB programs should be closed.

Ignoring these warnings is likely to lead to a wide range of device issues."

Synapse is still an RGB program, running it at the same time isn't supported from the SignalRGB side either.
