My recommendation CPU: I'm an Intel fan, but if you are going with AMD, I would choose AMD Ryzen 9 5900X My work colleague also did the same, he advised Ryzen 9 5950X produce more heat which is why clock speed is slower. You will need a very powerful cooling solution to beat Ryzen 9 5900X. Can help you save some money also. Water cooling: It depends on what chassis and CPU you have. Since Ryzen 9 5950X is powerful, a radiator with big dimension is necessary. 120mm by 360mm. System fans: This also depends on what chassis you have and what size can fit into your chassis. Once fans are bought, you need to plan how you are going to circulate the air flow effectively to cool down the chassis. GPU: RTX 3080 is powerful. Razer fans love zsilver mining through Gamma; downside of RTX 3000 series, its GPU architecture (Ampere) does not support zsilver mining. I recommend RTX 2080 TI or RTX 2080 Super. PSU: This is also a very wide topic to discuss. Cannot believe I am advising this for free. Definition of reliable PSU: A unit that can stand longevity and that can sustain the high wattage during OCing. So, if you are going with RTX 3080, 750W PSU should be good, but if you are planning to upgrade the GPU or add additional GPU, then I would think about 1000 - 1200W. I always like to plan ahead with PSU, so that I get options to upgrade. Corsair PSU have letters A, H and R (so far that I know of). A and H series are meant for servers, PSU that is reliable that can guarantee it will last long. Not saying R is terrible, but if you want a reliable PSU then something to consider. PSU also have grades (Platinum, Gold, Bronze), just like the letters, Platinum and Gold are best and reliable. Case choice: I like ATX size then ITX size. Once again this is about "component implementation". I was quite shocked how big some of the RTX 3000 series come in. You have to consider what component are being added to your chassis and that it actually fits all in like a glove.

@Sye_The-Vie sorry for late reply i have been out for a minute this week. anyway thank you for your advice and i really appreciated for the details from what you explained i think im going to get 5900x since not much big of difference with 5950x and way more efficient

for the chassis mid tower corsair 680x looks nice have lots of air flow for the time being until there is better option im going with this.

for psu after u explained and dig more about psu there is lots of difference between gold silver etc. so im going for gold. its gonna be hell of expensive rig but at least last for few years or more

It seems you are going with the selection of Corsair case, good choice If I know modern Corsair cases, they should come with an internal 6 multi RGB hub (for system fans with RGB lighting), but do find out. Corsair offers the following parts to build a pc (which I think you are already aware)

• System fans
• Water cooling (120 * 360 if you are going with AMD Ryzen 9 5900X)
• PSU (750W above)
• RAM module (thinking you will go with 32 GB)
• SSD

I'm not sure about other battlestation builders, but my recommendation is to try keep all parts under the same manufacturer name. This give advantage of the followings~~~

• Easier RGB synchronization and configuration
• Less RGB applications running in the background
• Some computer parts store give discount on same manu name purchase

I would recommend getting a Corsair Command Pro, it delivers the followings~~~

• Addition 6x fan plugs
• 4x temperature sensor wiring
• 2x 9 pin USB 2.0 internal plugs

Speaking of 9 pin USB 2.0, find out how many internal USB 2.0 plug the selection of your motherboard comes with. This plug is what you use to connect Corsair Command Pro, Corsair water cooling head RGB and PSU monitoring. I use in total of 4. My first choice of motherboard only came with one, so I had to purchase the 9 pin USB 2.0 splitter. Other choice is NZXT Internal USB Hub. Best to have 2 of these plugs on the motherboard. @-Mr.Nobody- how is your progress so far~~~ This is my opinion on Custom water cooling Custom water cooling sure looks cool, it gives the advantage of~~~

• Effective cooling then air (benchmark and/or OCing results will tell you)
• Light reflection from the tubes, sure can turn your pc to a disco lighting

If you are planning no upgrades for near future then I don't mind custom water cooling. But it is 'that' I find frustrating. As a Battlestation enthusiast, I do regular upgrades and changes to my chassis. Downside of custom water cooling~~~

• Internal upgrading/changing can be painful
• Your GPU warranty (if bought new) will be nullified
• Bad piping configuration can cause big loss (non-conductive liquid is in order, but a little pricy)
• Requires more thorough maintenance compared to air. Especially for any leaks and rust builds
• Emptying the liquid before moving the chassis is recommended. Especially house to house.

• ATM SLI and nvlink bridge days are over (nvlink for 3090 is not worth it)
• RTX 3080 beats TITAN Xp (in terms of performance)
• TITAN Xp does not support ray tracing

Terry Crews is kind of stuck with that PC, unless he decides to say goodbye to piping and move to upgrading. So custom water cooling is cool for certain period, but when that period expires for when you want to upgrade your hardware............ Start crying~~~

im waiting 2 important parts for my build at the moment, the GPU and Processor. my CPU is on its way but the GPU still no luck ive got pretty much all the parts except those 2 >.< im hunting 2080 ti and 3080 they both rocket price. They said nvidia will do something about the GPU i hope that is true

just checked out his video, the ard tube looks solid and clean but im afraid. i think i will go for soft tube instead. along the way i might change with hard tube when i feel comfortable playing around with it. that video is super helpful. thank you @Sye_The-Vie im still hunting around either 3080 or 2080 ti both are still hard to find with decent price. i guess i will wait until nvidia announcement

Thank you for the attention brada, that is why im going to playing around with hard tube while im waiting for GPU and probably doing some experimental with water cooling until i get comfortable with it. wish me luck :D

im not sure about motherboard as it for keyboard when is dirty like my fav keyboard huntsman elite, usually i wash every 6 month it like actually wash it until its clean and let it sit until its dry approx 1 week and then put everything back together works like brand new noted : you can do this if you have spare keyboard to use - personally i had lots of spare blackwidow so im good
