Bad sound when recording/streaming - Razer Nari Ultimate
Hi fellow gamers,
I have a problem with Razer Nari Ultimate when recording or streaming my gameplay, because the sound is very distorted and bad in the videos.... For recording i use Streamlabs OBS (i have the same problem with AMD ReLive and OBS Studio too).
So, when i play the game, my default device for sound is THX Spatial sound and Razer Nari Ultimate - Chat is default communication device....BUT in streamlabs OBS i have set Razer Nari Ultimate - Game as the sound to record, because if i chose THX Spatial, there is no sound in the video after recording.
So now everything works except that the sound in the recorded video is bad.... here is the example in one of my videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jY6jeyaS5o
Is there any way to record THX Spatial Sound quality, what i actually hear when i play? And why is there no sound when i choose THX Spatial to record?

I have same Issue here on Kraken TE. If i chose THX spatial as device in OBS - it simply not working. If i chose TE-game in OBS then sound appears but it sounds awfull. I asked about it in support by mail, but they didnt respond properly, answering that it should work as we describe here and THX are only drivers or something, i ll post it here what was answered by support on mail to me - "You mentioned on the video that the sound does not work when you select the THX Sound on the OBS Streamlabs. I would like to set expectation that the THX Spatial option on the default device that should be selected is the Audio Controller-Game or Kraken TE- Game since the THX Spatial stands for a driver that is used by Synapse 3 only. I hope this is informative." That was answered. But i agree that sound THX spatial mode is much, much, much better. Point is that even viewers now notice this and ask why the sound is strange.
So im not the only one and the headset is not faulty... waiting for the response of staff, mods...i dont know what else to do :)
I dont know... but it is really weird that this doesnt get addressed by someone on this forum...maybe an explanation at least.... I really like razer products, but with Nari Ultimate....oh, damn... i have so many problems -.-
Can you pls reopen topic in support branch, looks like they answer only there/ Here is only formus. Yes i have much problems with them too for the moment. Such a good device with a not optimised soft.

I just remember that it was not so for some period. I was actively streaming TESo august-september-octobre 2019 and i was able to use THX spatial as a default in OBS and sound was good. But someday something broke and it just only Game mode now available to use in OBS or streamlabs. So it was definitely some update synapse or windows.
