Blackshark Mic Cuts off too fast

I got my Blackshark 2 days ago and have been playing around with all sorts of settings, drivers etc I was able to make the quality OK but the last remaining problem is that the mic seems to be too sensitive? It seems to try to cut out all background noise but it does it too strongly, often cutting off the last 1-2 letters of the words I am recording. Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity? Or maybe a setting for how it handles background noise? I am so lost and but hope I can find help here and still use the Mic :) Thanks
