So my Razer Blackshark V2 Pro has been working at full capacity with absolutely no problems since December.

The microphone has always worked, whether I connect it before the headset has been turned on or after.

It worked without complaint yesterday, and today upon turning my headset on and trying to call a friend on Discord, the microphone failed to operate. The speakers and audio and the device itself are all fully operational.

 

This is the first time this has ever happened.

The headset has neither been dropped, struck, nor left in unfavourable conditions. The same goes for the microphone.

The microphone is connected and defaulted on all applications.

It does not work on any application. I have no other device save for my computer to connect the USB dongle to.

In the Sound and Audio settings of all applications, including the Windows 10 software, no audio is picked up.

Troubleshooting yields no identification of issues nor poses any solutions.

All drivers on my computer are updated. I have tried uninstalling and redownloading Razer Synapse.

I have tried restarting the headset and reconnecting the microphone several times.

I have tried restarting my computer.

 

I realise issues centred around this headset are not often responded to, but any help at all would be much appreciated.

Based on your troubleshooting steps, it sounds like you've done everything you can on your end.

If the issue persists, you may want to contact Razer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or offer a repair or replacement if necessary.

In the meantime, you could try plugging the USB dongle into a different USB port on your computer or testing the headset on a different device to see if the issue persists.

I have also done all of the steps mentioned above to no success. I have tried to use the support function but as my product is, conveniently, out of warranty it refused to allow me to contact anyone. It was working fine about 5 hours ago. The mic still works absolutely fine on Xbox while using the cable. However, when using the wireless usb, the mic does not work, despite the audio being flawless.

Any assisntace would be great!


Same thing here, blackshark v2 mic stopped working I think once I updated Razer Synapse. Before updating razer synapse the mic was working fine. I know the mic works because I used the 3.5mm headphone jack on my phone and ipad but when I connect it to the USB sound card it is not detected.

 

Can’t contact anyone also because I cant find the product number on the tag, when I put it into the razer website it just says it is not detected. 


Hey I also Have an issue with Blackshark V2 where the jack 3.5mm does work but once i connect to USB Sound Card There is No audio at all. I’ve tried everything uninstall the device, uninstall synapse 3, nothing has worked so far. 

 

Having issues connecting to support due to Serial Number not being recognized. 


I have experience the same in the past and then there was an update for Synapse 3 and the problem got fixed, however just a few days ago Synapse is not showing the headphones and therefore nothing works, this Synapse is the main problem but nobody from Razer bothers in taking care of this issue. this has been the worst headphones ever. I had some cheap CORSAIR Headphones before and never had any issue with the CUE. This is a nightmare and a big mistake going with this brand


My Blackshark V2 Pro yesterday just suddenly having this issue of Microphone not working, After following the steps provided by youtube and razer customer support, none of them works.  If i’m using aux cable directly to the headset, headphone and microphone works just fine but thats is not the purpose of why i bought the device. The blackshark v2 pro should be used wirelessly but now i have to use my aux cable plugged in to the headset so i can use the microphone only.  

Anyone have the solution for this issue?
