Blackshark v2 X potentionemeter,

Hi hi. I find posts about blackshark headsets’ potentiometers but each post never seems to have a solid solution.
I have had a blackshark v2 x for quite some time now and the left / right audio output isn’t balanced with the potentionmeter (volume knob). Especially the right side being softer than the left. I don’t really want to buy new headphones because the quality is still top notch, I just dislike the one ear being louder than the other ear the most of the time. I’ve not a single damaged wire either, I checked  inside, it is all the potentiometer.
I’d like to know what are the solutions (if any) that have been found.
I know of sodering a new ( P140KH ) potentiometer and contact cleaner spray with low pressure air but that seems to be all that I can find.
Any others?

Hello Kareldeikous. Where can i find P140KH potentiometer for Razer Blackshark v2 Pro? I can`t find it. Need to change it, because there is noise when you are going to change volume level.  Thank you So much.

well, I can’t say that I know which stores are around your area but you should be able to search  “P140KH potentiometer” in google and go to shopping to see who sells it.
Only problem in my opinion is that the process of replacing a potentiometer is tedious enough to consider buying a new headset. You have to know how to resoder a new meter and if it doesn’t end up working then it was all a waste of time and money.
Unless you’re really good at that and can make it work, I think it’s better to just buy a new headset and work around the guarantee when it breaks.

try setting the volume knob to max and lowering your pc volume, then never use the knob again to change volume, since the noises happen when you change volume and as I remember the volume could also randomly jump to max on a somewhat faulty potentiometer except when it is always on max. Then it doesn’t do that since it is already there.
