Wait, so the V3 has exact the same issues as V2 Pro 2023 has??? What a shame. Random EQ and volume changes, very rarely lost connection, while getting sound corrupted sometimes? Never again would buy a headset from them.

It happened to me only once after the update. So maybe less frequently but still an issue.

I experience the audio fade-in issue as well.

I first noticed this issue in Youtube while seeking. I thought it was because I put my browser in the Chat channel but it occurs in both chat and game channels.

I tried turning off/on Audio enhancements in Windows settings for the game and chat channels as well as changing connection modes but issue persists.

I did not have this issue with bluetooth to my phone.

I read from reddit that Razer said the fade-in issue is an “expected behavior to protect from sudden loud sounds” BS, but I find that if audio is playing in both game and chat channels, the issue is not present.

Now they just need to fix it so that the issue occurs even when there’s audio in both game and chat channels. /s

The firmware update dated Nov. 20, 2025 (Firmware updater v1.2.28_r2 - BSv3 Pro) fixed my audio fade-in issue.
I updated my headset since Nov. 22 and have not encountered it ever since.

Hello guys

I wanted to buy this headset and was looking for any possible issues.

I see that problem when output sound disappears.

I'm thinking maybe if you have issues with connection, when you stop hearing and it's happening only with ultra low latency option on, maybe you have to connect it to a "better" USB port, like 8k mice have to be connected to port controlled by CPU, not chipset, hubs and front panel ports should be avoided.

If you don't know which USB ports are CPU, it's described in your MOBO manual.

This "feature" of Razer is not that bad. I troubleshooted those audio poppings, which happens on some devices if you skip for example in a youtube video, for a long time now... but yeah I understand that the fade in/out is also annoying when you already see someone talking in the video and it slowly starts to fade in. :D

Anyway for everyone getting this, here is a workaround that seems to work for me.

  1. Open Sound Settings of Windows (the old one called "Sound")

  2. Go to the "recording" tab and select one of the devices (I recommend steromix which you might have to activate at frist or for example I have "What U Hear" from my soundcard)

  3. Go to the tab "Listen", check "listen to this device" and select the "BlackShark V3 Pro - Game" one..

With this fix there should be always a active device which prevent the razer from fading (which only happens if there is no active device)..
