Bough a razer blackshark v2 x 7.1 surround sound not working

I recently purchased this headset for cheap but expecting a little bit of good stuff. But when I activate 7.1 surround sound as default, no sound comes out at all both from speakers or headphones… Any ideas how I can fix this?
