BT kitty kraken no mic in game

At first i had an issue in game, as soon as i went into voice channel all sounds would cut out, i couldn’t hear anything at all until i left the voice channel but my mic was working and my friend could hear me. I looked this up and found a solution that did work and let me hear the game and voice channel but now it’s like the mic doesn’t even exist and i can’t be heard. 
If anyone knows a solution please let me know asap ! I don’t want to return:(
