I want to connect Blackshark v3 headset to MacBook (and smartphone) that doesn't have USB type A, so I want to know detailed requirements for USB cables and adapters. Below are what I need.
- usb type c to type c cable for the 2.4G USB dongle
- USB A to C adapter to convert the USB cable (A and C) shipped with the headset
As you know USB cable price varies with capabilities.
- USB 2 or USB 3
- USB 3 gen 1 or gen 2
- USB PD for power charging
So what will be adequate for this use case?
- for dongle, I guess USB 3 gen 2 without PD is ok, but wonder if gen 1 is enough
- for wire cable, which also charges the headset, maybe USB 3 gen 1 without PD is enough?
I searched the user guide and specifications but couldn't get the answer.
