hi i have recently bought the Razer Thresher 7.1 headset and it says they have sidetone/mic monitoring. I can hear my voice slightly but the microphone need to be on my lips and talking rather loud. is there a way of turning the sidetone/mic monitoring up? any info would be great, even if there are other headsets available with better levels for sidetone. thanks

As far as I know you can't control it from headset. But if they're connected to PC (Windows) you can set the sidetone: It's configurable in Windows 10 control panel: a. Press Windows key + X. b. Click on Control Panel. c. Click on Hardware and Sound. d. Click on Sound. e. Click on the Recording tab. f. Right click on the Microphone and click on Listen tab. g. Check the box next to Listen to this device if it is checked. h. Click on Apply and OK to save and close the window.

But it doesn't require 3rd party software to enable such function :) There are always some pros and cons.
