Kaira Pro via Xbox wireless controller for Windwos 10

BeerMacht
Hello,

has anyone here successfully connected his Kaira Pro to PC via Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10?

It just won't work for me. I have the latest drivers for the wireless adapter in my system and the headphones have the latest firmware.

The adapter was bundled with an Xbox Series X controller.

On the Xbox Series X, the wireless connection works. The Bluetooth 5 connection with my phone also works.
Razer support wants to replace the headset, but I'm afraid that won't solve my problem.

Tanks and Regards

You might need to buy a BT USB dongle that has the exact same specs as your phone.

If you say your Kaira works on your phone, Click here to find out the BT specs of your phone.
Find out what BT specs the XBox supports. That way we can try find similarities to BT specs of your phone.

Good luck shopping for that specific BT USB dongle, unless other Insiders can put their hands up?!

Thanks for the quick reply.

But: i don't want to connect the headset via bluetooth but via wifi. Since wifi offers the better quality And I connect the headset at the same time via Bluetooth with my phone.

Therefore I have to rely on the solution PC and Xbox wifi adapter.

In the advertising was explicitly stated that the connection with a PC and an Xbox wireless adapter for Windows 10 works. That was the only reason to buy Razor.

I would return the headphones and get your money back period. I was having problems with mine connecting and/or staying connected to any device other than xbox. I went through support Dec 8th. It took them 10 days to get me a return label. It's been their factory since the Dec. 21st, and I still don't have a replacement. They keep telling me 3-5 business days after it is received, a new one will ship out. Probably my first and last Razer product. My wife got an Arctic 9x at the same time I got the Kaira Pros. It Connects to her phone, laptop, work laptop, and Xbox just fine.

Have you tried using a different Xbox wifi adapter and/or another PC? That will help isolate the issue that you can consider when deciding if you're going to do RMA or buy a different headset.

Do you mind sending me the driver version of the Xbox wireless adapter and your Windows build number? I'd appreciate it if you can PM me your ticket number as well. That way, I can check what troubleshooting steps our Support Team has provided you so far.

To make a long story short: After several mails with the support (2 months), by asking me the same questions over and over again, I should send my headset back for an exchange. But after reading that even the exchange is a horror, I let the ticket fizzle out. Above all, I feared that this would not solve the problem. I suspected all along that none of the support staff really understood the problem.

I still can't connect my PC via the official Blutooth adapter.
After 10 - 20 minutes of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox Seires X, the audio output sounds muddy.
The Xbox turns on when I turn on the headset (OK, this may be due to the design).
Then the terrible and especially manual update process.
Razer is certainly aware of the problems, but the firmware is from Release Date: 11 Nov 2020???

I will probably not buy more hardware from Razer.
