Kraken V3 pro usb dongle problem | Razer Insider

When I first connected my new headset to my PC, it worked fine. It had sound, stable connection, no problems.

But I decided to disable the light on my headset and install Synapse to do it.

After installing Synapse, I lost the sound in my headset (there is a "Kraken v3 pro" device in Windows sound settings, I see the sound indicator but no sound on the headset).

Also the connection with the dongle is unstable:

  1. Sometimes after starting the PC, I can control my headset via Synapse (e.g. lighting), but after 30-90 seconds the connection is lost and nothing happens until I uninstall Synapse + drivers and reinstall it.
  2. Sometimes the headset won't connect to the PC after startup until I reinstall Synapse.
  3. Always after connect USB dongle to PC I hear default windows “blip” about “device connected” and immediatelly hear “blip” “device disconnected”

Anyway, I can't use the wireless connection, but the AUX cables work fine.

It seems that Synapse has updated some firmware for USB double/headset and then they are broken.

Someone stuck with this problem? Any solutions?

Can I undo this "update"?

KrakenV3Pro_FirmwareUpdater_v1.06.00.1114_r1 shows me that dongle has firmware 1.0.6 (only for first 30-90 sec after first connection after reinstalling drivers. After that this program doesn't see the dongle)

Resolved by replaced my headset to new

I have the same or similar problems with my Razer Kraken V3 Pro. Keeps disconnecting from Synapse. There seems to be some interference problems with Synapse, the Device and THX Spatial Audio too. I purchased THX Spatial Audio from Razer website thinking it may fix the issue, but hasn’t solved the issue, if anything it’s complicated things more as Razer own THX Spatial app tells me to use Razer’s THX Spatial sound output as default. Meanwhile, Synapse tells me to use THX Spatial Audio by THX as sound output default. There also seems to be problems with charging the Razer Kraken V3 Pro, unless mine has a faulty battery or something. It also doesn’t show the percentage the battery is charged in Synapse. Sometimes it works fine but every time I turn my PC on and try to use the headset I have the same issues with the headset wireless connection. I’ve tried reinstalling/repairing all Razer Apps. Updated to the latest firmware on the device and dongle. Tried updating to latest drivers etc. Tried using 7 different USB ports on PC for both dongle and headset. I love the headset but only when it functions as it should.

Hello everybody,

some time and several updates of Razer firmware and Razer Synapse software have passed. I still have issues with my beloved Kraken V3 pro. I use wireless Deathstalker V2 pro TKL (keyboard), Cobra pro (mouse) and Kraken V3 pro (headset). The first two devices share a HyperSpeed Multi-device dongle and the Kraken V3 pro needs its seperate one. When starting ANY Pc (I tested several ones, also non-Razer devices and the described behavior is identical) the mouse and keyboard are directly found in synapse and work perfectly. But to connect the headset, the Kraken dongle must be removed and replaced to initiate a connection in synapse. Another weird point is, that after putting the PC into sleep mode or locking the pc and shutting down the headset, when waking up and turning on the headset, the mouse and keyboard are still connected in synapse but the headest is gone again. Though sound output and microphone work just fine, only in synapse it is gone andchroma is not usable. Turning the headset off and on again does not help. Here the PC must be restarted regularyly. I updated all devices and dongles whenever a firmware update was available, but the issues never changed.

Has anyone found any solutions yet?
