When I power on my pc, my Kraken V3 Pro doesn’t appear on razer synapse and sound does not work until I unplug and replug the dongle into my pc. I have tried running the repair feature in the razer uninstaller (which as I understand fully uninstalls and reinstalls razer synapse from your pc), after doing so the issue remained. Without synapse installed the issue is not present but I need synapse for my razer mouse button functions to work.

It seems new synapse update broke something only 2 usb works out of 3 for my Kraken v3 pro headset. It was working fine till I updated the Synapse software. For the broken USB only microphone works for some odd reason headset is not getting recognized by windows and synapse. Now on those 2 working USB sound is working synapse and windows recognize the connection of the headset but theres lots of sound disortions and cut offs.Best you can do is try switch up USbs or wait for Synapse hotfix update.

 


Same issue started happening with my Kraken V3 Pro after 20231129 Synapse upgrade.

 

I’ve reinstalled Synapse 3, cleanup drivers, reinstall Windows 11 updated it to latest drivers etc.. installed again Synapse 3 20231129 and same issue...after reboot or shutdown USB dongle needs to be unplugged and plugged again in order to get it working. I’ve reported issue to Razer today.


After testing a bit more, I found out this happens only when I restart Windows 11 Pro, for some reason headset cannot reconnect to USB dongle.. and I have to unplug and plug it again in order to get it working. I’m on latest FW release from December 2022. If I shutdown or put computer to sleep reconnecting with dongle works, as I said the problem is restart.


Upgraded to Synapse 20231207 release.. same problem.

As I said, the problem of detection still exists. The Synapse software almost never recognizes the headset. I'm happy if it works at all. It's a real shame because I really like the vibration feature. The latest firmware is of course installed and I also ran Razer's driver uninstallation tool. I have also used several USB ports.

I think to return this product to Amazon if this problem is not resolved...

I have the same problem as you. Have you fixed it yet? If you did, please tell me how to do it.
