Leviathan V2 Settings Broken After Synapse 4 Update – EQ and THX Spatial Audio Not Working

Hi everyone,

After updating Razer Synapse to version 4, all the settings for my Leviathan V2 soundbar have stopped working.

  • The equalizer doesn’t respond at all.

  • Switching to THX Spatial Audio is disabled inside Synapse.

  • Along with the update, a separate THX Spatial Audio app was installed. This app requires a paid license, and only started a 15-day trial.

  • The sound quality on the soundbar is now terrible compared to before.

I never had to pay separately for THX Spatial Audio in Synapse 3, and everything worked fine.

Can someone please advise:

  • How can I roll back to Synapse 3?

  • Or is there a way to get the EQ and all settings working again in Synapse 4 without paying extra?

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

    I confirm that if you connect the panel to your phone via Bluetooth, the sound is good. If you can't fix it, please distribute the THX keys.

    am experiencing this as well , this has also happened in the past whenever there is a major update, usually a new patch will fix it but i forgot how long it took. Now all my games sounds really bad , need to use headphones. Razer needs to acknowledge this , there isnt any comms mentioned anywhere. At least provide an ETA that its being worked on. Suprise this version of the product was able to push to production.

    Update:

    I have Barracuda Pro and Leviathan V2

    Both EQ’s don’t work.
    Both devices do not enable THX

    It’s a joke atp

    When I reconnect the device, the Razer Leviathan v2 settings appear for 2 seconds. However, in other cases, the settings page is empty. This issue has been present for at least 7 months, as I purchased the Razer Leviathan v2 on January 14, 2025, and it was already present at that time.

     Additionally, there is a problem with the audio in NFS 2015, as the voices of the main characters are not audible, and only background sounds are present in cinematic scenes. P.S. I am using the latest firmware at the time of this post.

    Kraken v3 pro and Nommo v2 reporting in on same issue.

    The custom eq was working with Kraken v3 pro. Didn't try Nommo v2. No THX.

    I noticed another interesting thing. When the Razer Leviathan V2 is set as the main audio output device, and I also have the Razer BlackShark V2 Special Edition connected. 
    If I change the equalizer on my headphones, the sound on the Razer Leviathan V2 changes for some reason, but the equalizer settings remain the same....

    I solved the problem... The problem was with the profiles that were transferred from Synapse v3. Delete all the profiles and create new ones on v4. It worked for me....
