my party mixer is not working and its grey out. im not sure if its a xbox problem or a mic proplem that why im asking. the scroll wheel works but its doing nothin.

Hi I’m asking thus because I have tried everything I have gave up and I need help. I have tried for days and found nothin. The scroll wheel works perfectly fine but it’s doing nothin in the settings so I’m not sure if it’s a Xbox problem or a mic problem. I have look online too and they all talking about wired headsets and not wireless headsets. I need some help please
