I have a kraken x ultralight model and after it was delivered to me i installed the 7.1 surround sound drivers using the code given in the box. While i recorded some of my games using obs and also Nvidia experience both did not record the sound. I noticed by switching the audio to realtek drivers and it recorded the sound. I would like to know if i can record my games using the razer 7.1 drivers. Help needed.

The 7.1 sound drivers should show up as its own device in the device manager. You should try looking into the settings of the recorder and see that it should be recording from the Razer device and not the Realtek device.

Okay. I fixed similar problem for my headset. Go to the Audio settings in Windows 10. At the bottom of the page there will be button called something like [Additional Sound Settings]. There you want to set NVIDIA Container output to the Realtek device. (I might be wrong, but i think that your 7.1 verison is a different device, yes?) If your Krakens is one device then i don't know how to help you, sorry.
