Recently I removed the ear cushions from the Razer Blackshark v2. I followed the instructions from the video that Razer provides. And so just like it said on the video I peeled off the ear cushions. However after removing the ear cushions I can’t seem to find a way to put the ear cushions back and I’m not sure if it’s even possible. Can anyone help?

I think, that you’ve just damaged your earpads. On the earpad side there should be a PU leather “lip” around it with some plastic ring (underneath the lip), that is snapping to the headset.
And the plastic ring is still sitting in the headset.

I tried to remove the earpads, but it seems very difficult to remove the plastic ring without damaging the earpads in the process.

Yes, just use some slim plastic tool (can be also guitar pick) - slide in between headset and ear cushion and try to pry on the mounting points (you can find them in picture on above post).
