RAZER 7.1 APP NOT WORKİNG
I have a razer kraken . I scratched off the activation code to get the item registered on my account and downloaded the 7.1 Surround Sound program. It prompted me to log in and I did, but than nothing pops up. I go to the bottom right of the task bar to check the program, it says it is on, but when I click on it nothing happens but a small window above it to directs to me a website that is my account.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program multiple times now with nothing changing. I have ran it in admin mode and it still wont let me use it, I tried to run it in compatibility mode and it still wont work. My pc is a 64-bit system, so that shouldn't be an issue.
In the debug I get this error over and over again.
[1209/124735.207:ERROR:registration_protocol_win.cc(56)] CreateFile: The system cannot find the file specified. (0x2)
*This is a repost, I was not sure if I should have needed to posted this in Razer Support or here in Audio to receive help, first time on the forum*

I have the same issue as this too....
I uninstaled 7.1 drivers because there was no headset registered in razer synapse and I thought it would help. Now when I install 7.1 surround sound I I need to press on sound and on headset (7.1 surround sound), but I dont have that option, only headset (Realtek audio), and speaker (Realtek audio). I dont know where to install 7.1 surround sound drivers. Can anyone help?
I have resolved all my issues by performing a clean install of windows and reformatting all of my files…
I have the same problem as you.

Anyone find a solution to this? having the same issue

This has to do with the files for the surround sound app being installed in the admin’s appdata/Local/Razer folder. If you are a secondary user on the system, you need to run as admin for it to work OR copy the admin’s appdata/Local/Razer folder to your own appdata/Local/Razer folder.
