My current setup is an xlr mic that is connected to a usb mixer (thru xlr too). My main 2.1 speaker is connected to the out channel of my mixer. I also have another 3.5mm headset that is directly plugged to my front audio panel in my pc.
All of these are mixed thru voicemeeter and i have a stream deck mapped to certain functions.
Sometimes my usb mixer disconnects randomly and when this happen i can easily switch to my headset by a switch in my stream deck which changes the voicemeeter settings.
If I upgrade my mixer to razer, will i:
- Be able to connect my main speaker to the line out of the razer mixer and will that be my system sound then?
- While the speaker is connected, i plan to connect also my headset thru the front port of the mixer. Will i be able to map the front headset port mic to a channel so i can adjust the slider also?
Im ok with the headset and speaker having the same sound output. That’s my current setup now. I just want the flexibility i have now where i can easily switch both the audio and mic to either my headset or the xlrmic+speaker
I don’t generally stream as i use this mainly for work voice conferences.
