Hello,
My Barracuda Pro suddenly stopped working today and I was wondering if this has anything to do with the recent software update or I just have a bad one.
- software updated on Sunday 19 nov. and was working after - no probs
- yesterday also was okay. mostly used for a few hours - zoom conference, listening to music and playing games on iPhone. didn’t have any problems
- until this morning, 21 Nov, I turned it on and there was no audio. no voice prompt saying it’s powered on. it connected to bluetooth but has no audio. restarted a few times but still didn’t work
- after approx 3 hours i tried using it again and audio was back but then a few seconds after, it started having staticky noise until it goes completely silent
- whenever I turn it on or off there’s this subtle hint that something was turned off, like a faint beep or something
- went to Razer’s troubleshooting guide and followed all the troubleshooting steps including firmware update - which by the way was weird because I thought I already had the latest firmware but it still went through the update. I thought it was gonna fix the problem but it’s still the same
- also uninstalled drivers and all but same problems
Quite disappointed as this is new and bought almost 2 months ago. Was hoping to check if others also experienced this or if anyone can assist a new Razer device owner.
Note that I’ve also submitted a ticket already for support but any additional help would be much appreciated.
PS. I had no problems with this device since I bought this almost 2 months ago and have been loving the quality of audio and all until this morning. Sadge.
