I just bought this headset today and when plugged in the headset works fine but as soon as i try to pair with dongle i get nothing. I was just going to return but i do like the quality of the headset so trying tech support first.

My blackshark hyperspeed dongle worked fine for a month then stopped. the light gave a faint green glow then windows said the usb device was not recognized. i took the dongle appart (2 screws under the rubber padding) to find that the weight they used to make the dongle stay in place was touching the chip and creating a shortcut. after removing the weight, my headphones work like new. i will update this post if they stop working agin.

how do you dismount the rubber padding without broking?

My dongle always “USB not recognized” all in my 3 pc. Does anyone solve it? I think its dongle. Already tried the update.
I’m having the same issue where my dongle doesn’t want to connect and it just does a little ping and disconnects but it’s not the same dongle with the headphone jack its the smaller one that came with my Blackshark V2 and I don’t know what to do

In the end, I just used a little force to unclip the circuit board, and I succeeded. Even without the cover, it worked. And then, by removing the weight as indicated, and reinstalling the dongle, everything was fine!

Terrible design. I still have to wiggle mine a bit after tightening the weight anyone found a solution to that or is that just me having that issue.

hi guys, maybe stupid question but did you try to click the switch mode button on headset twice quickly?
when my headset came it was default in bluetooth mode and didn’t see/connect to the dongle, when I press this button twice quickly, mode changed and it connected itself to the dongle stright away.
You are a genius! lol I tried clicking and holding that button but it didn’t do anything, worked perfectly when I clicked it just twice quickly and gave it a second. lol Thank you!
