I were given these headphones as a gift they lasted me only one round of siege, working perfectly fine but then when I realized the Xbox output volume was turned to the max and I still wanted more cue sound I tried to adjust the wheel thing on the right side of the headset with the + and - icon I pushed it up and then I realized it’s infinite for some weird reason then my audio just stopped working completely and every time I would turn the wheel I hear a beep and it does nothing. To summarize, I got the headphones audio was working then randomly stopped working (the mic works just fine I tested myself, and this is for Xbox windows works fine as of my knowledge)

things I’ve tried: restart Xbox, power off headset unplug dongle thing for 30sec plug back in, fix from Xbox accessories, fix from razer headphones Xbox app, charging the actual headset, adjusting volume constantly

Hi Dmj0510,

. The infinite wheel with a beep indicates that your Razer BlackShark V2 Hyperspeed on Xbox Series X is either stuck on a software mute or requires a firm factory reset. Try the steps below and PM me your headset’s SN: (Follow steps here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/548/~/how-to-find-the-serial%2C-product%2C-or-part-number-on-a-razer-device) and link of your receipt in a PDF format: (Save the shareable files via any online drive account listed here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4011?_ga=2.197232171.544708261.1744067200-1885068520.1744067200&_gl=1*vo487o*_ga_3TRK53PM75*MTc0NDA2NzE5OS4xLjEuMTc0NDA2NzM0My4yNC4wLjA). 1. Turn off the headset and the Xbox Series X. Unplug the USB dongle, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, and turn both devices on.
  2. Ensure the USB dongle is plugged in. Hold the SmartSwitch button on the headset for 10 seconds to force it back into pairing mode with the dongle.
  3. Go to Settings > General > Volume & audio output > Headset audio. Ensure the headset format is set to "Windows Sonic for Headphones" and that Chat Mixer is not set to mute all game audio.
  4.  The "infinite" scrolling with a beep indicates a potential, though rare, internal mechanical issue with the potentiometer. Try cleaning around the wheel with compressed air, or hold the power button for 10+ seconds to factory reset.
  5. If you hear a beep but no audio, it is likely the headset is muted or disconnected via the dongle, not damaged physically. Ensure the chat mixer isn't fully switched to one side, completely silencing the game.
