Razer Hammer head True Wireless still have enough noticable latency when using it with Razer phone 2 | Razer Insider

Hello,

These are my 2nd pair, replaced the first just in case i had a bad set. I love the quality, build, looks, and especially the sound quality of these earbuds. with that being said. When using it in Game mode, There's still that latency that's very noticeable, while the game mode definately helped cutting down the latency. I tried an Android Native Game like Modern Combat 5 and emulators. Music and Videos, Gaming mode isn't neccessery. there's no noticeable latency there. Now I also Connected these Hammerheads up to the Homespot for the Nintendo Switch. Now using the Hammerhead in gaming mode, all latency is completely gone, works very well, that alone makes it worth it for me. Since The Homespot is USB C. Just to see what happens I also plugged the homespot into the Razer Phone Directly. To my surprise the homespot worked as a bluetooth adapter,. and guess what, Game mode using the Razer Hammerheads works flawlessly like that, no more latency. It leads me to beleive that it's something to do with Android OS or the bluetooth chip being used. I also tried another android phone, An old Google Nexus 6. gaming mode still have that same exact noticeable latency the razer have. I'm thinking it's something to do with Android OS. If anyone can suggest anything. would be appreciated. I'm using the latest firmware on both the razer phone and earbuds. Now I don't want to use it like this as I love the Razer Junglecats. not sure what type of low latency tech Razer is using on there. This is the best controller for a true handheld or on the go play with the least input delay. I was surprised to see how responsive games on Android became. If there was some passthrough usb c while using teh Razer Junglecats I wouldn't mind using the homespot. thanks for reading.
I am using mine with iPhone 11 Pro, I don't really know why GAMING MODE is not ON by default. When its OFF, I get lag while typing.
Not that he's an audio guy per se, but I'm gonna tag one of the guys I know who is most mobile-savvy to chime in on his thoughts.

What say you, @Rox598 ?
I also tried these with old PSP Go, that had bluetooth audio support built into it. Works Flawlessly with the Razer Hammerhead earbuds. Here's a kicker, without even game mode being on. I know these earbuds supports AAC audio also, which is stated on the hammerhead specs. While yes can run those games on the Razer Phone 2, will have that audio latency still with gaming mode on. I'm hoping that razer will continue updating the firmware on the Razer phone and the Hammerheads. Earbuds made it almost complete as a mobile gaming device for me at least. Everyone perceives audio latency differently, it may not be as noticeable for someone else.
