You could try, it helped me.

Delete the app again and connect the headphones normally via Bluetooth. Then download the app. If that doesn't help, restart your phone

Are you trying to connect the headphones as described in the manual?

This is the procedure:

While inside the charging case, simply open the lid to enter pairing mode. 

If it still doesn't work, try resetting the headphones
Tap 3x and then leave your finger on the sensor for at least 2 seconds
