Razer Kraken TE - Surround not working

I just bought the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition. I followed the master guide for installing and using the USB dongle. I put bass to lowest, fixed the EQ from pictures online. I've tried firmware update, following master guide. ____ I used the 3.5 jack and managed to use Synapse 2 to get the surround to work but after "try using the USB-dongle" from agents on support the 3.5 surround no longer works. The headset is very comfortable and nice and I just wanna get this thing to work. Can someone please help!? Best regards,
