I have this Razer Leviathan for some time now and gave me some 5.1 surround sound since it is bouncing properly on my wall for me to hear. But I just felt a bit lacking. So I figured out what it was then added 2 rear surround speakers at my back wired to my mini amplifier then at the back of my desktop. Then set it up as 7.1 then 5.1 but didn't work. I was about to switch to another surround set but just figured out why not try Quadrophonic since Razer Leviathan have 2 speakers which is ideal for the setup and delivers 5.1 virtual surround sound (virtual front, left and right, and left and right side speakers) anyway so no need for a central speaker and sides. It did work and sounded great!
When playing Resident Evil 2 remake, I have set up the audio settings to 7.1 (5.1) Surround Sound and put on Large and turned Binaural off. Guess what, it sounded like a real 7.1 like on my dad's setup.
I can say that it did the trick for me instead of buying a real 7.1 surround for my desktop.
Can you guys try this setup as well and tell me what you think? Please share your thoughts after trying it out.
Thanks!
P.S
Please, Just in case you want to flame me or tell me that it isn't worth it or that it is a waste of time, please try it out first. Thanks!
